This tiny place has really upped its game under new management. All dietary needs are catered for and the cakes are a particular highlight. The menu is not extensive but everything is good. Even dogs have their own ice cream! Avoid the former Rosebourne, now ruined by Hilliers, and eat here instead. You won't regret it!

We had a stop at the Tea Rooms in Aldermaston along the canal after a walk.I had a lovely piece of cake which was very tasty and moist and a cup of tea.The staff were very friendly and helpful!I would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Kind service, lovely location and atmosphere. Very reasonable price for cream tea too. I just wish there was a (more pricey) option for leaf tea and warm scones, possibly brushed with egg wash on top before the initial baking: these would also contribute to giving them a bit more color.

I was a bit put out that it wasn't until we had paid for our teas and cakes I was told there is no smoking in the garden. A sign on their gate would have avoided this problem. Other than that it's a very good tea shop in lovely surroundings.

A warm welcome and great hospitality in a lovely location. The coffee was hot and seriously tasty and the food was spot-on. A simple but comprehensive menu well prepared. Great cakes!

Beautiful place on the canal, small carpark out front. Nice toilets, free sanitary stuff for women.

We took my mum here for afternoon tea and it was lovely, the staff couldn't of been more polite and attentive, the cakes and sandwiches were delicious and there was a good amount too that we boxed the leftovers up to take home with us.

Visited Sunday 27th August, greeted with a very warm welcome but sadly left the dog at home as would have been nice a dog walk after breakfast. We both had a boaters breakfast with plenty on the plate and all cooked fresh and washed down with a pot of tea , keep up the good work !

We stopped here for breakfast. My boaters breakfast was very good and good value for money. My wife’s egg on toast was reasonable - but pricey for one I un-buttered slice of toast and one egg £5.50. The setting is lovely with their garden on the canal. Service was friendly and fast. Only real disappointment was the tea. We had a pot of tea for two and it was just tea bags. Not really what you expect in a ‘tea’ room. No brown sugar as well. A bit picky but at £5 for a pot of tea you expect more than just tea bags.

Stopped here while out on a bike ride for a coffee and cake, I sat outside at a table in the garden over looking the boats on the canal .My coffee and cake were lovely and the food they were serving means I will be back soon for something more filling with my wife next time. The garden is fenced so it's safe for children.

Moored the narrow boat up and had lunch in this lovely little cafe. We had tuna melt paninis and even bought our dog a doggy ice cream. Sat outside but there were quite a few wasps. Still a pretty setting.

Wonderful experience. We used it on our cycling trip to Paris. The service was fantastic and they served one of the best Cappuccino I've had in a long time.

On a lovely summers day myself, my mum and baby boy took a walk down the canal keeping in mind we knew the tea room had been refurbished and was under new management. We were very impressed! There is now seating inside as well as outside, a lovely selection of homemade cakes and everything is reasonably priced! We ordered a black coffee, slice of lemon drizzle (which also gluten & dairy free, we hadn’t realised this but still yummy!) and cream tea with plenty of jam and clotted cream! We were even happier to find out they will be open all year round (previously this was not the case) and now looking forward to autumn/winter walks along the canal…maybe finishing off here with a nice hot bowl of soup?! ?
