Third visit to this lovely pub. Since the images that appear here on Trip Advisor, the interior decor has been totally transformed and modernised (lovely parquet flooring). Always a wonderful welcome. Service is excellent and staff are friendly and helpful. The varied menu offers fantastic value and portions are generous. We have never eaten out on Xmas day before so we were apprehensive. The food was fantastic the service was excellent. I would have to say one of the best Xmas Dinners I have had. The team very pleasant and attentive. Will be going back in January for another meal. Great work.

Had a lovely lunch here today. Service was good. Staff were nice. Would go again. So much better than when we went 2 years ago when service and food were dreadful. So glad we tried it sgain
