Enjoyed my visit to the anchor to watch the football, Flavius the bartender was exceptionally welcoming and catered for all my needs. He dealt with my friend who had learning difficulties incredibly and really went above and beyond. I shall be returning to this establishment again for sure, and best believe I do hope that Flavius is present for my visit.
Visited the Anchor on a Monday evening for food. The manager was very helpful, the barstaff were lovely. I ordered the ranch chicken which arrived promptly, it was delicious and good value for money. I asked the manager to pass on my compliments to the chef, who then came out to thank me. The chef, Jamie, was very professional and lovely. Would definitely go back again and I can highly recommend this pub.

Still a great place to watch the footy with lots of screens and a big projector screen. The staff were also helpful with offering to put the projector on so we could watch a specific game.But the place is starting to look very tired, the toilets are very unpleasant, and the food we had recently was quite poor. We had the nachos topped with beef, the topping was very meh.
