For the second week running they said the washing machine was broken and so it was plastic cups again ? Lots of chairs in the restaurant were filthy and hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Staff were stood around talking. This Costa (town centre) used to be good but has gone downhill. We won’t be going back.
Today was just a quick visit as I was waiting for a taxi. It was raining so I wanted to sit outside under the awning. That way I could see the taxi when it arrived. Barrista Matt wiped down a chair for me so my trousers wouldn't get wet, very considerate of him. Barrista Gergo made me an excellent almond hazelnut protein latte. This is my favourite Costa product at present. It is delicious and healthy, made with almond milk. Thank you Matt and Gergo, I enjoyed meeting you both....read full review

We called in here on our way home to Cambridgeshire for tea, cappuccino and lemon muffins. The decor was different to most Costas and it looked clean and fresh. The two girls serving were friendly and helpful and offered to take our tray to our table. Another customer volunteered to do it for them = thank you for your help, much appreciated. Then one of the girls brought the rest of our order over. Would call in here again if we are in the area.
