“Sandra and her family and team at the Royal Oak provided the bar and buffet for my husbands 80th birthday in Tingewick Village Hall. Well I couldn’t fault it. The buffet was incredible and her staff were engaging and gave great service. Even clearing and cleaning the hall afterwards. Sandra herself was wonderful in accommodating all our, sometimes challenging, requirements. And her communication and attention to detail outstanding. Highly recommended.”

“A brilliant local pub - the heart of Thornborough!A pub with two sides - there is a very cosy snug with a fireplace on the right as you come in, or a more open busier side to the left, which also has a pool table.The pool table hosts some fierce competition on a Friday night, but anyone is free to join.The Howe & Co Fish & Chip van stops here on a Friday night and you can eat these in the pub.There is a large beer garden outside for those summer nights!”

“meals are no longer available but still an amazing place to go to if you just want to go out somewhere, a drink of your choice and a lovely atmosphere, whether, a date, couples or family or even just by yourself, if you have children then please go to the right of the main bar, board games are also provided at your leisure for a bit of fun, to enjoy a drink, unwind and play some family games and just be out somewhere different...and if you have a dog, a bonio will always be given as part of the family as our fur babies can't be left out...definitely go along and see..?”
