“Had a lovely meal on a Thursday evening. We booked a table for four but it was our first visit so not sure if it was necessary. It's not a large place and several other tables were occupied. The food was all prepared and cooked on the premises and was off excellent quality. Will definitely be returning”

“This pub is great. Always quick to serve drinks and a great atmosphere inside. Food is usually quick and always delicious. On busy nights you will probably need to book in advance.Kid-friendliness: Children are allowed.”

“Four of us had lunch here today and all the meals were excellent. The pie of the day, chicken and ham, was beautifully cooked. We were given a friendly welcome and shown to our table, then the charming landlady came back promptly to take our drinks order. The meals were freshly cooked to order and delicious. This is a great place for lunch.
I highly recommend it.”
