The best roast in Bucks. The pub changed hands semi-recently and the food is now unbelievably good. Service is friendly and quick, portions are beyond generous, and the pub has a very friendly atmosphere. Well worth a trip, an ideal end to a walk in the woods and countryside that surround the village.
Loving the new atmosphere and the absolutely delicious food. 100% recommend coming whether it be for nibbles or a full meal! So glad it’s become an inviting pub with such good food served!

What a hidden gem ♥️We just popped in on the way home after a drive to berkhamsted. The food was INCREDIBLE- a small but well thought out menu. We had home made pies (amazing pastry) and the ruby piggy - tandoori spiced pork - so so good… and to finish, the lemon cloud pudding was to die for ?I have pinned the pub on my Google Maps so we can come again! ♥️
