Lovely pub and dining area. Advisable to book in advance. We were lucky they managed to make space for us.We stopped in after visiting the zoo.Kids menu had a good selection and the our children enjoyed their food. Wow. What a find. 10 mins from Whipsnade zoo. Lovely rooms, great food and amazing staff who were exceptional. The landlord, John, was very welcoming.Highly recommended.Rooms: Recently refurbished and lovely and clean. Good shower.

Visit was on the 1st March 2024 after a wet visit to Whipsnade.I called the venue prior to the visit to enquire about booking, child friendly etc.Really comfortable and welcoming establishment. Nice friendly staff and the food was inbetween great pub grub and restaurant standard.The portion sizes were also very generous, the food was fresh and not the usual microwave stuff.Well worth a visit.
