“A very welcoming team at the Boot. We ate on the terrace, and the roast dinner was excellent; special mention for the outstanding roast potatoes, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, the best I have had dining out. Would absolutely recommend, well worth the visit”

“Better late than never this review….back in the summer I found myself locked out of my flat for the afternoon with my step daughter and no charger for my phone.
We found ourselves popping in the Crown for a couple of hours until my partner returned from work.
I explained my situation to the lovely people running the pub and they were very nice. I had a nice pint, my daughter a coke and a lovely meal each. All while my phone charged on a charger found for me in order to contact my partner and pay the bill! Great, welcoming and friendly service all round.”

“Really nice food lovely setting and very efficient staff so eat well and quickly buy make sure you book as I have lost out once before as it was too busy to take anyone who had not booked a table. Real ales very good as well”
