Ok, so I am a self-confessed food snob. I'm much happier in a Bob Bob Ricard than in a Chef & Brewer. But, every so often my ever so frugal hubby wants to trade in our Tesco vouchers for a meal deal. So I reluctantly visit Pizza Express's and Chef & Brewers within a 20 mile radius of our home. On this occasion we opted for the Red Lion and my goodness am I so glad we did. We had our Xmas dinner at The Red Lion this year and everyone in our family party of 16 was extremely impressed with both the food and the service.The atmosphere was very welcoming as were the staff.I really cannot praise the team highly enough.Thank you for a lovely evening.

Really good roast, large portions and very well priced. Service was great too.After visiting a few more times I can say this is one of my favourite pubs to visit, the supervisor Michelle and the team went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. Thank you for the excellent service—I'll definitely be back!
