Service was very good . David the maitre d’ was very attentive and friendly. Location by the weir is fantastic. It would have been nice if lights outside had been on. The food was overall good. The starters were really nice and well presented particularly the cullen skink. Most of the main courses were great particularly the Aubergine and Sherherd’s pie. What a lovely treat afternoon tea and champagne in the lovely riverside restaurant. Wonderful service, particularly from the delightful Hulya who helped to make it such a special birthday and anniversary celebration.

Booked for lunch, and due to the weather we were able to have a table on the terrace overlooking the Thames and the Marlow Bridge. We were warmly welcomed by Franco at the bar, who certainly must be a great asset to this hotel, he was so attentive and very informative as to the local beers and lagers available.
