An absolute treat to be taken to the stunning Riverside Restaurant by my wonderful friend for my birthday ? From the moment we arrived the concierge was warm and welcoming even taking us to see which table we would prefer for a perfect river view ! Enjoyed afternoon tea as a group of 6. Beautiful setting and views. Whilst good overall, the quality of the afternoon tea wasn’t as good as I’ve had elsewhere for a more reasonable price. Service was good but at times a little overbearing but we did wait quite a while to get our bill to pay and had to ask for it 3 times. The next comment is not the fault of the venue but we were plagued by wasps getting in and being around the food which we ended up having to cover with napkins....read full review
