The pizza was delicious, I didn't know what to expect as I haven't been to Pizza Ex in years. I had the thin crust pizza and I can say it was the best pizza I've had in the UK for a long time.

Visited as part of a full day of shopping in Milton Keynes. Service was prompt, courteous and friendly. The food was served piping hot, and our Fiorentina pizza even arrived with a perfectly cooked egg with a runny yolk. Considering how busy the restaurant appeared to be, the entire experience was very pleasant. Unusually for a visit to Pizza Express we had a poor dining experience. They were very busy but the service was slow. Our mains were over cooked, my romana pizza was burnt across one side and wife's Fiorentina had a hard egg in the middle (should be runny). Strangely we were also bugged by tiny flies. Manager was very apologetic and gave us a discount off the bill. It's not usually like this.
