An unexpected diversion through Newport Pagnell led to the discovery of this gem! A very warm and friendly welcome from Chloe & a personal recommendation to try the BBQ chicken toasted sandwich, which comes with fries and salad. Wow! This is the best toastie I ever tasted! We've just had a lovely meal tonight. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Thursday night is pie and a pint for £10. The meal was freshly cooked and the pie was homemade, it came with fresh vegetables, mash and roast vegetables and gravy. I'll definitely be going back.

Stopped for lunch here. The food was lovely and plentiful though took a little while to arrive. The girl behind the bar was doing the work of two (give her a payrise!) as she was single handedly managing two bars. She was a model of efficiency and professionalism. This is a great little pub. Worth a visit.
