Really exceptional service. We went here for a family birthday lastnight and Tony overheard us talking about birthday celebrations so came out with a birthday card, totally unexpected and my son was so touched. Then he brought a complimentary pudding with "Happy birthday " written on the plate in chocolate! A real surprise and so appreciated. What a really pleasent pub. A good selection of ales and wines. Not eaten there yet, but evey time we visit the restaurant and bar areas are packed with diners... So I can confidently assume the chef is a good one. Very dog friendly. Staff all very helpful and friendly. It has a large garden which will be good for summer and families. Very happy to recommend!

We have been to this location a few times now for lunch / dinner. Just wanted to say how lovely ALL of the staff here are, and how nice all of our visits have been. The food is always great. This pub is one of our favourites! Thank you!
