Esquires Coffee

We popped in for coffee and cake after a run nearby. The service was quick with no queue. The coffee and cake was good. Quite a few people were using laptops for working - be careful if you do this as there is a 2 hour parking limit.

Berryfields Fish Bar

I decided to have a take away as I was soo busy in my working to social life today, I have been here before, My ordered plaice was huge on the plate with a larger size of small chips which were delicious , The service was friendly and very helpful , I was helping another customer over his phone card settings not working , He too worked it out and all his food was ready, Delicious food , large sized portions, Easy parking in Berryfields, easy to locate , Clean establishment, Thank you for your service and friendliness
Update- I returned to my favourite Fish Bar and I was quite touched by the Fish Bar providing me with a free drink as the gentleman behind the fish bar counter thought it was thoughtful that I had offered to pay for someone's meal when they had issues with their card payment so I enjoyed yet another lovely freshly cooked and wholesome meal of freshly battered cod and small chops which was delicious again with my free Dr pepper drink, Thank you very much , This was much appreciated ?

Recently enjoyed a delicious more keto friendly double grated cheese burger with salad , small portion of chips and small carlton of orange juice to reduce carbs on a keto diet, Thanks to the Cyprus gentleman who suggested some drinks to reduce sucrose levels as lots of can drinks are high in sucrose, Thanks ?

New owners- Berryfield's Fish bar is far more busy. friendly staff, courteous. I have regular banter. Great prices, lots of varieties of offers on display, great customer service from staff that I am getting to know. Someone's Birthday was recent. I had a very enjoyable meal with celebrating his Birthday, with birthday wishes. Sit down chairs and tables, inside and occasional outside when the weather is better.
Parking is free outside in the parade for 2 hours

Stables Café

Another gem for the national trust to be looking after a big playground for the kids or adults toilets ? spotless and clean dogs allowed on the land but not in the house and only on the outside of the cafe. A small car park free for members and blue badge holders £4 elsewhere. A big picnic area gets busy on hot days and school holidays. Cafe as normal national trust fair. Routes are long and good ?
