Why I haven’t been going here for years is something I keep asking myself. What a special neighbourhood spot. I’ve been here twice and have been blown away by the seasonal, delicious, well-presented, well-priced food. With a changing menu every week and a nice selection of savoury bar snacks, it’s the perfect place to come share a bottle with a friend and a nibble or a full on satisfying, plate licking meal. My husband and I have recently moved to Shelford and thought we’d try the wine bar one Friday evening. I stupidly booked the wrong week but when I rang up to ask if it could be changed, the gentleman on the phone was really accommodating and managed to fit us in that evening. We were made to feel so welcome immediately on arrival and the service was great throughout the evening. Simply delightful way to while away an hour or two with some very good sardines and antipasti. A very pleasant young lady who was front of house was equally delightful and interesting. We will return for dinner before long! Thank you.
