Proper little pub serving cracking ales, just the way a pub should be. The landlord Neil is a bit ugly but Kuma the dog is beautiful so it balances out! The locals are a decent friendly bunch too so looking forward to my next
Lovely little pub on a much needed break in my journey. There were a few locals in when I got there, they and the staff were very welcoming. I'm not really a dog person, but their dog was very friendly and well kept. I spent quite a bit of time chatting with Neil, running the bar, who is a very experienced and knowledgeable guy. Tried raw scallop as starter I had not heard of before, it was amazing balanced with the pickled pears omg. Slight problem some dishes weren't available I really wanted moules fritz but mussels weren't fresh at market so fine I had cornish anchovy also amazing be back for more. Small pub trying to do something a bit different treat it as a nice night out with great food surrounded by some local characters loved it.
