I went for Dinner to the Queens Head last night with a couple of friends of mine because we were visiting Eddy who is a local and recommended this place. I have to say that it is a warm, very nicely decorated and very inviting pub-restaurant with a good array of beers and more particularly for me, they sell Good Quality Alcohol Free beer [Ghost Ship] and not the brands that taste so awful, so it was off to a good start. Excellent. Lovely atmosphere, attractive surroundings and attentive staff. Food was authentic, very tasty and lots of it. We dined on a 2 course deal night (Monday - Wednesday) for £13. Very good value and portion size wasn’t scrimped. We will be back.

We bought a friend with us for a meal, who's never been here before to dine in. She was 'spoilt for choice' as she couldn't decide which to have & what she did have she said was absolutely lovely. Suffice to say the 3 of us will back for another.
