Every time I’ve been here the food has always exceeded my expectations. Today I had the river mill burger which was one of the best burgers I have had. The rosemary salted chips were the best I’ve ever had. I’m gluten intolerant and the menu caters for me and other dietary requirements which is excellent. Went to the River Mill for the works crimbo doo a week ago. The bar area was really nice, the staff were very pleasant and helpful.We were upstairs for the meal and it was well laid out, food was really nice. I found it rather hot upstairs as did a few others and for some reason they had a disco blasting out for the start of the meal, which, tbh, I found really off putting and ruined the whole evening. First time at The River Mill as we're moving to the area and we'll definitely be back - an absolutely exceptional Sunday roast dinner with my hubby and in-laws, we ordered roast lamb, turkey and beef between us and all were mouthwatering. Really reasonably priced, and we had brilliant service - really friendly and polite. Only downside was nothing on the dessert menu came with custard and it's winter so would have been a nice option.
