49 Newmarket Rd, Fordham, ElyBooked here as we were going to a birthday party in Isleham at the beginning of June, this year. As it was an afternoon/evening affair,Lisa was very accommodating in letting us check in en route. Double room was lovely with lots of little homely touches like, variety of slippers, spare razor, hairspray and homemade cake. Bed really comfy and the en suite, which was down a few stairs, had everything you could need.Breakfast was delicious and the added touch of the homemade jams and marmalades made it more special. Lisa was fantastic from initial enquiry through to the goodbye. I would definitely use here again next time we're visiting.

George and Dragon
31 The St, Snailwell, NewmarketBooked lunch for 8 at the George and dragon on our way to a holiday cottage we booked for the Easter week. We were 4 adults and 4 kids with a dog and I have to say that the food and service was superb , nothing to complain about. Kids and dog loved the garden. Top class and the location was great for a mid journey stop as it wasn’t too far off our route. If you are in the area and need a stop that’s family friendly this is a great choice.. thank you for catering to our needs so well , it made a great start to our family holiday .
