Others in our party of eight had various selections from the menu - the Burgers were popular - along with Beef Burginion, Ham egg and chips, Lamb etc. All plates finished! Shame it's so far for us to get to (3 hours), otherwise would be a regular. ??”

Staff extremely helpful and communication good beforehand and on the night, where they really helped to make sure everything went smoothly. Thank you so much. Lovely food & thank you also for catering for guests who could only eat gluten free. The function room is an amazing venue for a party - absolutely perfect for us and would very highly recommend.”

If it was cheaper I'd visit more regularly but you get what you pay for I guess.Staff are always friendly, noone came to ask "how is everything" mid mouthful so I liked that. Nice selection of beers but definitely dislike the proximity to £6 per pint.Would definitely visit again.”

“Visited on a Tuesday evening for dinner and didn’t disappoint. Mark the owner is one of the nicest guys we’ve ever met, went above and beyond for his customers, very attentive always making sure we had drinks and just genuinely a really nice guy. His service alone would make you want to go back and visit. We had starters, main and dessert and all were so yummy! The mango chutney onion bhajis were super yummy as was the treacle sponge for desert. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much for being so accommodating Mark! Your pub is a delight :)”
