The food needs more flavour although is cooked well.The main issue is that we had to return due to the them not providing 1 item in our takeaway. What makes it worse was that they didn't even provide anything additional as an apology, not even a pompadom.I'm not impressed and I will not be returning.

Good indian food. We like the the typical Indian food and this came as a surprise. Price is decent and on Thursday dinner and Sunday lunch they have set menu offer.

My wife and I first ate out at this location many years ago. It was a different restaurant then! But since it became Gurkha Spice it has, if anything, improved. We liked it before. We like it even more now.The food is delicious. The service is courteous and attentive. And it doesn’t cost the earth. What’s not to like? It’s usually pretty busy. At least when we’ve been. But not excessively so. It’s in the Goldilocks zone, ie, just right.

We rang to book on Saturday evening and were sitting at our table half an hour later. Mo was extremely helpful with our dietary restrictions and he runs a great team and lovely restaurant. The food was excellent, we both tried Nepalese dishes for the first time and, with Mo's help, we both chose things we enjoyed very much. He was so enthusiastic about the food and his enthusiasm was entirely justified. We will definitely go back as soon as possible, just a pity we didn't have room to have a second meal straight away. The price was very reasonable and we felt the team had earned a fairly generous tip.

Great food, great service and good value for money.We were lucky enough to get a table without a booking but 3 sets of people were turned away while we were there as the place was fully booked, on a Thursday!. So be sure to make a reservation.Would definitely recommend the Goat Curry and the Kathmandu Chicken.

Wow , what a find .... This place was recommended by a local barman. He said the food was great , service was good, staff are friendly and the prices fair .... He was not wrong .. we had a fabulous meal with great service from friendly staff at a fair price.... Chicken Nepal - I could eat it every week !!!

Gurkha spice is a splendid example of Nepalese food. we go every Wednesday and have never had a bad experience. We rarely order the same things as we like to sample all on the menu. The food is amazing and the staff are always friendly.
