I often visit Halcyon when in the area as it's cheap and cheerful. Prices are similar to a Wetherspoons but the dining area is generally not as sticky and messy as most Wetherspoons I've visited.Food quality is average but taking advantage of their various deals on different days it's good value. Our server was Shannon. She was very lovely and helpful. Overall a pleasant experience after a long car journey up from London.Kid-friendliness: Lots of colouring above the standard ones included in the menu. Someone took the time to print other sheets for kids, which is a lovely choice. Lots of crayons as well.Thank you!
