This is a very nice wetherspoons with pleasant staff. Been here many times. Sat in garden area because beautiful day. Their is a small smoking area on one side. Many people were smoking in non smoking particular 1 party of 3 adults and 3 children and baby. Staff did nothing. We had a portion of loaded chips at a cost of over £6, very little load of cheese and bacon,very poor value. Certainly needs looking at. Otherwise a very nice pub and garden. Pretty good. It's a spoons so you know what you're getting. Service was alright staff friendly. They had some problems with tills and peds when we visited but they fixed them as quickly as possible to be able to continue serving people. Food was good. Front door was out of action for an unknown reason. The time me and my friends went to leave the other front door was locked too and they were already outside. We've gone to the College Arms Wetherspoons in Peterborough a few times, and sometimes it's been excellent, but other times not so great.The good stuff is that this place is like a typical Wetherspoons Pub, where you can usually find lots of seats. They even have an upstairs area where the bathrooms are. The drinks they serve are typically yummy, and no matter when we go, it's usually a fun time.But there have been times when things didn't go so well. Imagine waiting for more...read full review
