Great food, great service, great staff, great choice of food and drink. A proper community pub. A simplified menu so not bamboozled by choice, wine recommendations by the owner Nick are always the better option. Food is seasonal and expertly put together and cooked. There's no stuff on the plate that doesn't need to be there. Waiting staff are attentive and informative. Empty clear plates are always the sign of happy customers..our plates could have gone straight back in the cupboard!
Super friendly, great and unusual venue set up for live music but still with village pub charm. Not many people there for Sunday lunch, which made for a nice calm atmosphere. Seems like it could be a fun place on live music nights. No complaints on food and reasonably pricedVegetarian options: Good veggie roast

Only had a drink but despite the very unimpressive exterior view, once inside it was a delightful experience. Very helpful staff. Landlady treated me last like an old mate. Loved it. Must try music night on Saturday.
