It has been newly renovated and offers great prices and a variety of options. The pub is praised for its great historical atmosphere, lovely old pub sign, and well-served, reasonably priced ales. The food is described as amazing, with a good selection for vegetarians and vegans. The pub effortlessly combines the traditional English pub and the contemporary gastropub, offering a welcoming and cosy atmosphere, a great selection of drinks, and friendly staff who even welcome customers' dogs. The Sunday roast is particularly recommended as the best in a pub.
