Visited last weekend for family birthday meal. We were not disappointed. I started with the soft shell crab which was absolutely delicious. This was followed by the lobster and prawn linguine, a little more lobster would have made the dish even better but the flavours were lovely. I then chose the blackberry posset. We had our first visit to the pub today and weren't disappointed. The food was delicious, from the starters to mains to desserts all very nice. The roast beef dinner was gorgeous. Such a great menu for a Sunday with loads to choose from if you're not up for a roast. Beautiful pub, fantastic staff and amazing food.

So many of our local pubs have changed hands and the difference is stark. But found this one and gave been delighted both visits. Good food, good value and really friendly and attentive service !
