THE CROWN INN

A friend recommended I visit this pub some time ago now to try the home-brewed beer. So I turned up with 'Wilf', my whippet-cross to try a pint - sadly I didn't manage to get a foot in the door as i was met at the entrance by a lady who advised: 'We don't let dogs in here I'm afraid'. So I had to go somewhere else for a pint. So as not to be mean I've given 5* for food and service as I've heard no bad reports re' food and service. I can only give 1* for atmosphere though on account of the no-dogs policy.
