Visited today with my sister and kids, never been to Rushden before and popped in for some lunch. The staff were all really friendly and made an effort with my kids which was a really nice touch. Food was delicious and such good value for money. I would definately return here again.

Oh my god the food was really really good. We had the mixed grill and the lamb was the most tender tasty lamb I’ve ever had!!! And he was so kind he gave us free cup of Turkish tea after on the house. The atmosphere made us feel like we were in Turkey. The food was really really exceptional. The bread … oh my goodness … and the humous so clearly all home made everything so fresh.

I had takeaway fish and chips although you can eat various other dishes in the cafe. Nice clean interior. Friendly helpful staff. Takeaway Fish and Chips tasted great. The chips were a good size and not scrappy. The fish was a good size with nice crispy batter. The whole meal tasted nice as though the cooking oil was fresh. Would highly recommend the Red Cafe.

Really quick service, really nice food.We used Golden Sunrise for a Saturday night takeaway. The most daunting part was trying to identify what we wanted from a VERY lengthy menu. The menu covers all the common favourites and so much more and branches out to include Thai & some other influences. When phoning the order through, we got through with little challenge. When we drove over 10-15 minutes later, the welcome was warm and the food was ready and waiting for us. Great service. The food did not disappoint & was enjoyed by all. Will happily use again.

Rushden Cafe

So visited on Saturday 2nd March for an out of town visit as heard good things about this cafe. You can park outside of Tesco Express and if you cant then it is only a short walk. First thing to remember is this cafe is CASH only. So i ordered the Super breakfast £7.90( i dont have mushroom or tomatoes) but was offered an extra sausage so really good start. You get bread or toast with your breakfast and a choice of drink. I opted for the black coffee which wasnt bad quality. A tidy little cafe with plenty of seating and was clean. They have a vast menu to suit everyone and some of the menu items look really nice. Anyway back to the brekkie. Sausage really nice flavour as was the bacon. Lots of beans and the eggs were tasty too. Overall a really nice hearty breakfast with really quick service and a good price. The staff were friendly and i will be back to try other menu options.

The owners have always made us really welcome.If you make them aware of anything that is not quite right they are happy to change or offer alternatives. We found the austere exterior rather off-putting but that shouldn't put you off as we encountered a friendly welcome from the staff and customers alike. Friendly staff. I ordered Lunchtime Small Cod and Chips with Curry Sauce(£8.90). A generous portion of chips. The cod was a bit flat but very nice-I did ask for small. Fish slightly greasy but maybe as all freshly cooked and served. Very good-I’ll use them again.
