After deciding against any of the central pubs in Wisbech, wandered along the canal away from the town and came across this place. There was one person sitting at the bar but the jukebox was rather aptly playing Concrete Jungle by The Specials, so decided to stay for one drink (which turned into many more). Friendly bar lady, very reasonable prices. Outdoor seating area at the back although we sat inside. Clientele then doubled (4, including us), and we joined in the conversation....read full review
We visited here on a monday lunch time and we were the only people in the pub. Plenty of drinks to choose from. We had tried calling for several days to check the opening times and no one ever answered the phone. I wonder if it ever gets busy?
