“Visiting family and popped in for food after checking out there social media. The fish and chips is great value and such a huge portion. Massive shout out to Sarah who looked after me and my girls. Your service was second to one for a typical “pub chain””

What a fantastic atmosphere Excellent food and the most attentive friendly courteous staff I've been lucky enough to be served by in years
It was our cousins retirement meal and he has Down Syndrome they were really patient and gave him his dessert with Happy Retirement written in raspberry sauce What a wonderful gesture and special THANKS to the young waitress who asked me who's birthday it was and who then got the retirement message added

“Our first visit on. Thursday evening. Great selection of beers. They also had an offer of two courses for £20. Often with these offers you get deduced quantities. Not here - I had a great fish platter, two large head on prawns, smoked mackerel, smoked salmon with salad followed by fish and chips. Both courses were substantial and excellently cooked and presented. Excellent service by all. Definitely deserves its five star rating.”

“Absolutely banging food. The grilled cheeses/toasties are always ludicrously stacked, great balance of flavour.
The coffee is smooth, cakes are fire.
It’s always a good atmosphere around as well. One of my favourite spots in Chester!”

“Stopped here on the way from London to Holyhead and what a great decision. The Sunday toast lunch was one of the best we’ve had. Top quality ingredients beautifully cooked. Great staff and service too! Highly recommend.”
