The food is delicious and very good value. I haven't had service that good that we had from the waitresses for a long time, they brought water without us asking and one of them went and found us some olives that weren't on the menu. The steak melted in your mouth and the chips were the best ever. Thanks to all the staff for a great evening

Good personalised service, food (very good chef) and atmosphere, with a large Tudor hall hosting the bar section. The pub gets busy and it is best eating in the designated eating area which can now be booked. As there are steep stairs at the front of the building, I'm not sure about ease of access.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options although the pub maintains the flavour of Tudor style eating which was heavily meat based.
