Excellent food - I had the pie of the day which was steak and my wife had the southern fried chicken burger.Both absolutely gorgeous meals. The steak pie was excellent, gorgeously slow cooked beef with a rich sauce and plenty of gravy. Chips were perfect and there was a dipping pot of gravy for these as well - always a way to win a Yorkshireman.I had a bite of the chicken burger and it was so tender with a beautifully seasoned coating.We were both full but had to have dessert...read full review

We were searching for a venue for a family reunion halfway between North Wales and Manchester and came across this fantastic venue in Google Maps. The reviews swung it for us. The premises were lovely, the food good and the service excellent. A really good choice!! Highly recommended!

Travelled an hour to eat here based upon a Google search and subsequent reviews. Was not at all disappointed. Food was amazing, service was second to none. The young man who was front of house was amazing: polite, friendly knowledgable. The chef brought our food out and he was great too - nice touch. We will definitely be back - it was worth every mile of the journey.
