Fabulous meal in relaxed atmosphere. What seemed to be a limited range of options turned out to be a cornucopia of flavours . Beautifully presented dishes and their greatest secret is "dirty mash"; the most incredible side dish full of flavour. Definitely worth a visit even if you're not a hotel guest. Staff really attentive but not intrusive. An open kitchen as well so you can see the passion and attention that goes in to the presentation of each dish.
Wonderful night! Friendliest service we have had for a long while. Food magnificent - and cooked in a visible kitchen area. We had the Sunday roast menu. The best beef sirloin cooked to perfection, and with green veg even I ate. Pudding was lavender and thyme creme brulee. Superb!Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor accessible entrance. Restaurant on ground floor.
