The food was amazing but one of the waitresses was very surly. We couldn’t get a herbal tea at 22.15 because they had turned the hot water off! Would have been 5 stars but for this member of staff.
Top-class service and a great traditional menu. Food was super-tasty, loads of it and very well prepared.We arrived out of the blue (no reservation, on a layover at the airport) and even though they were super-busy, the staff went out of their way to squeeze us in and serve a delicious meal for the five of us. The local bitter isn’t half bad either ?Worth a detour for sure!

Just what you want, warm welcome, dog friendly, Tastefully decorated throughout. Good range of ales. Excellent dining area's but booking it would seem essential.Thoroughly enjoyed the visit, would certainly return if back in the area.
