Excellent staff and service, lovely grounds, immaculate everywhere inside (toilets especially clean, which speaks volumes about the staff and management ethos) Food varies from lovely to mediocre but that's probably subjective (except the roast lunch / dinner which is outstanding by any measure) pretty expensive for what you get (except again the roast) but probably worth it for an occasional treat. Lovely place. A bit on the pricey side for Sunday lunch but lovely meal and excellent service. They do need to fix the door leading to the toilets though as it kept banging. Would definitely go

Attended Rake Hall for a private party. Room host John was amazing and very attentive. Food was outstanding, biggest battered fish I have seen in a while. Excellent value for money, will be booking again.
