Our destination was The Bull across the road but although we knew it was quiz night, it was a very popular quiz night so we came here. Lovely and warm with some good seating and a friendly welcome. Sky sports on TV. Great to see Boltmaker available but it took a while to pour and there was a bit of a head on my friend's pint. The first time in the pub for a while and very nice it is too. Warm welcome from the staff, immaculately clean bar and eating area. I ordered a Sunday roast and my word……………it was delicious ? A chicken and pork Sunday roast with all the trimmings and an extra portion of cauliflower cheese and a jug of gravy on the side. The home made apple & rhubarb desert was also delicious. The staff were very courteous, checking in that everything was good. I recommend eating here....read full review
Bit disappointed, turned up at 7.55 after playing 5 a side to watch United game, said no food on, despite 6 of us drinking wouldn't even allow an uber eats to be consumed on premises. Otherwise nice place
