The coffee is great and I love that I can take my dog. Great view if the lockParking: It's a small car park but I've never had a problem getting a space. I think most people are walking down the canal into the coffee shop. Most of the spaces taken up are for the pub

Nice little coffee shop in a delightful location. It'll be lovelier in warm weather as some seating outside, overlooking canal. My cappuccino was Brill! And we shared a good slice of carrot cake. Good selection of cakes. Doggies welcome inside and out.

Coffee is fantastic. Service is even better. Don't be confused with the pub upstairs as their coffee is sub standard.This shop is below it. Very important distinction.The server was polite and courteous.Will definitely recommend!A random biker

We’d seen posts from The Big Lock on Facebook and decided to try it for Sunday lunch. I messaged to book a table and had a reply very quickly. When we arrived we entered through the door from the canal path and thought we’d made a mistake - a cafe! The pub is upstairs. Access was from the road side. We were served by very nice waiting staff, all attentive. The two roast beef lunches were huge (there is a child’s portion which we were told afterwards we could have ordered) and it was very tasty. Plenty of thick slices of beef, roast and mashed potatoes, parsnips, carrot mash, stuffing, Yorkshire and lashings of gravy. We ordered a side of cauliflower cheese (I’m not a fan of root veg) but this was disappointing. The cauliflower was overcooked and the cheese sauce bland. However, overall it was a very good meal for the price. (Side note - I love Tater Tots so will be back to give these a try. Served American style!!). It would be lovely here on a sunny day.
Excellent, great menu particularly for a light lunch, food arrived promptly really good. Staff really helpful. Really enjoyed my visit!

Love this cafe! Tracey and the staff are lovely coffee is amazing and my Dog Daisy loves it too. Lots of nice cakes and Toasties and a little haven for Dog lovers and a lovely little spot right on the canal.?

What a great coffee shop our first time here, myself and my friend Ben loved it , a warm welcoming ,friendly atmosphere from Tracey the coffee shop manager such a lovely lady very friendly and helpful and informative and happy which is lovely to see in businesses and her colleague was very friendly too ?. Lovely coffee shop dog friendly ,beautiful location on the canal ,a great little find and I will be retuning again with friends and family ,many thanks Little Lock coffee shop for your excellent customer service and excellent coffee ☕️ ??.
