The Newton Brewery is a lovely pub next to the canal. Great selection of well kept beers, friendly service and an easy going atmosphere. Visited twice on our trip up the canal and back. It will be a regular watering hole from now on. No food served, whilst we were there, but a good selection of bar snacks

A real ale local pub. Two cask ales on offer, one below 4.0Abv. I don't think this inn sells cooked food. I didn't enquire.
Local beer ok but a bit too light...to try to convert lager drinkers to beer !!! No red wine ...no comment!!!!
