“We enjoyed a very tasty and fairly priced Sunday Lunch in the lounge at the Wickstead Arms today. The welcome and service throughout were fantastic. A cosy and traditional pub decor, with regulars at the bar but just as much welcome for someone new (and with a baby in tow). We hadn’t booked, but luckily there was a table. Gluten free Sunday Roast option. Clean and tidy including the toilets (no official baby change due to limited space, but a mat was available and the floor was clean).”

“Fish and chips at a pub is always a gamble I think but this was the nicest fish and chips I’ve had in a long time! Staff were really flexible and helpful when our son didn’t fancy anything on the kids menu (it was a bit boring to be fair as most pub kids menus are)Lovely food, lovely staff, would visit again if in the area.”

“Stayed for 2 nights and had 2 rooms. One room was renovated and one wasn't. Food in the evening was good and breakfast was ok too. I would say the place is a little on the expensive side but if they manage to renovate all their rooms then that would be a massive plus.”
