We held a celebration party for our family and friends at The Royal Oak and couldn’t be more pleased with how the day went. We had a superb Sunday lunch yesterday. The setting was beautiful , the food gorgeous - the pork was to die for and the cauliflower cheese was the best I have ever tasted. What makes this place so special are that staff. All so charming , interactive and attentive. Rookery Hall you should be very proud as we all agreed this was the best Sunday lunch ever !

This is such a wonderful pub - the food is excellent quality and portions are great. We had the salt and pepper chicken wings to start, which were delicious. The chicken burger was one of the best I have ever had. The staff were very friendly and the service was brilliant. We look forward to visiting again in the future when we are in the area!
