Heating was on in the conservatory so we were nice and warm. Good food and prompt table service. Lovely staff and enough parking spaces.

Lovely food. Just strange that the nut roast (ve), that comes with vegetable stock gravy is only served with goose fat roasties and no alternative offered so we had to pay for cauliflower cheese as an extra rather than instead of. And no Yorkshire pudding with the nut roast? Not much of a roast really if vegetarian/vegan.

Excellent service with reasonable quality food but well presented.Lunchtime so little ambience.Parking: Plenty of free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheelchair accessibility or none visible to the arrivee. Very poor, steep steps entrance and internally.

We had lunch on a Saturday. Staff were friendly and efficient. They food was nice. It was a bit cold in the pub and it did lack a bit of atmosphere.Vegetarian options: At least 2 choices on the menus

This is the second Sunday roast we’ve had in a couple of weeks & it’s up there with the best. A warm welcome & cosy feel with roaring fires. Good service, friendly & efficient staff & tasty food…excellent all round.
