Went for an afternoon tea at 2010 Brasserie at Peckforton Castle, which my wife had bought me for our anniversary present.Wonderful location. Using a Buy a Gift voucher went for an early afternoon tea at this unusual venue. Restaurant is in the renovated castle kitchen area and not very big so hence the need to book. Nice to be able to modify the sandwich selection to suit our tastes as they were fresh made. Scones were nice and still warm with the usual jam and cream. Very pleasant afternoon tea using a voucher purchased via a 3rd party. Booking online was easy, took along the voucher and was asked for it at the end of our meal. Scones were fresh and the cakes were nice, sandwiches were generous. We weren’t offered refills of tea but the teapot yielded 3 cups. Service was efficient and friendly, glorious weather for a walk around the grounds.
