I do enjoy going to the Cookhouse. However, despite there not being that many people in, we waited a long time for our food. I think most of us enjoyed the food - three of us had peas with our meal, and they were cold, but just ate them as we were very hungry by then. We as a family did have a carvery in December, which I would definitely recommend. I really don’t understand the earlier reviews, myself and my family came for Christmas Dinner and thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the venue. A party of 12 in total including 4 children (all of which are very fussy eaters) and we all loved it! Will definitely be back again next year!

Amazing Christmas Day food! The pub was extremely busy which is too be expected during the festive season. Hats off the chef & staff for a lovely experience & coping with the rush! Will definitely visit again.
