Brought my mum here for an afternoon tea as an early mother's day surprise. I went to the cafe in the morning with my mum's gift and asked if they could put it on the table in advance, which they were more than happy to do. When we arrived at the booked time they had reserved us a table in the conservatory and also decorated the table with flowers and beautiful chinaware. We had a beautiful selection of sandwiches, crisps, cakes, cream teas and enough tea to keep us going through the whole meal. The lovely girls working did a fabulous job at making it a special occasion for us both and made sure we had everything we needed. Again, beautiful meal, fabulously presented and me and my mum both had a lovely time. Thank you, we will be back again.

It was my wife's birthday and she wanted something like a high tea to share with other family members including young grandchildren. It was a Sunday when we were trying to find somewhere, so quite difficult. However, with help from tourist info we found The Castle at Bude. We had a really lovely tea the following afternoon, with a range of very tasty sandwiches and absolutely delicious cakes along with mince pies and cream. Pots of tea were included all for a very reasonable price. The table was laid nicely and service was helpful and friendly. We were delighted with it all and it was precisely how my wife wanted it to be. Many thanks to all concerned at the cafe.Geoff WP & familyHaving read some negative reviews I'd like to add that our feelings about the cafe and the staff are entirely the opposite. Some folks though are never satisfied.

Ordered 3 Cream Teas-3 teas andScones served up but only 2 lots of cream and jam-when staff approached told 'we try to save on waste'-having paid for 3 sets this was a complete RIP OFF.Go elsewhere and get value for money-I and my family were short changed-Well done Limelight-you have got Bude a bad reputation.
