Bar • “Great little, proper old pub. The service was great and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was really good. It was a wet and windy Thursday evening so quite quiet but those who were there had a great time. It's in a lovely spot on the River Fowey (Foy for non-locals) so when it's daytime, it's got quite a view also. Thank you.”
Bar • “Faultless stay at the Havener's. All the team were friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice was excellent and v.tasty. Room was clean and had lots of nice touches, including professional Nespresso machine and local OS Map for use during stay. Will definitely go back.”

The surf & turf is 10/10 and the beef short-rib 11/10.The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made us a table even though they were fully booked. “We stayed here 3 nights to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Everything about the hotel was perfect. The room with stunning harbour views, the complimentary gin and tonic, the greeting card and chocolates in our room on arrival, the meals, the service, even the lift. All the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.”

“Visited twice while visiting Fowey for a long weekend.... the first just for dessert with a glass of wine as we already had dinner plans. The most amazing cheesecake! While we were there, we found out they are open for Sunday lunch every other week so booked in. The roast beef melted and all the extras (pigs in blankets, roast spuds, parsnips, carrots, broccoli and youskhire puds) were all just so delicious! Highly recommend and we hope they are still doing this when we return next year!”
