Have always passed here but never stopped before..... after a disappointing visit to get lunch else where. We drove down to Birdies. And gotta say we were NOT disappointed.. welcomed with a smile, offered a couple of tables to chose from. The food was absolutely amazing and as was the hot chocolate. A really nice atmosphere to be in and the staff appeared to enjoy their job. 100% be back there again soon
Very beautiful setting, in middle of nature.Great big windows to admire the view.Had waffles with divine fluffy yoghurt cream, making it sweet yet fresh.Tiny drawback is the noise level, as it is so popular. People chat happily, so when it is full, it gets loud.I'd happily go back there anytime however.The place is full of dogs, which is an additional bonus, in my opinion.And good coffee!

Lovely find overlooking the estuary. It was recommended and did not disappoint. We were there on a cold and very wet January morning. But the welcome was warm. Great dog friendly location.
