All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, with good amenities. The dinner was very nice and served with a smile, and breakfast was excellent - made even more purrfect by a visit from King Reggie!All in all a memorable stay for all the right reasons, thank you all very much!”

Bar • “Had a lovely time at the may tree went with my family of 9 did pre book. When we arrived we were seated quickly to a freshly cleaned table. It was busy when we went as it was a sunday dinner time. Ordering took a little while as they were very busy but once Lucie R came to take our order nothing seemed to much. She was attentive, friendly and considerate. Any questions we had were answered professionally and as I said nothing seemed to much trouble considering she was working her butt off. The food was enjoyable we had a roast dinner the potatoes unfortunately weren't the greatest they were a bit like frozen potatoes but when serving so many people I'm not sure if that is what needs to be used. The pub has a friendly atmosphere it's clean and tidy and not a cliquey local pub which I sometimes find can be uncomfortable. Would recommend and return in the future mostly because of Lucie she really did have the best service. Thank you.”
Bar • “Only called in for a coffee so can't speak for the rooms. The lounge and bar areas however were well furnished and welcoming. Some original (?) artworks on the walls. And some interesting history to the place - details of which are readily available.Well worth calling in .”
“Great local spot for lunch, coffee or cake. Good size tables inside and out. Quick service and tasty menu. They also have a big bathroom great for families and cater to allergies with oat or coconut milk alternatives.”
