Popped in after visiting several other local pubs. Nice welcoming. Friendly staff. Decided to eat here. Food was nice. Busy pub and can see why it's really popular. Very dog friendly. Would definitely recommend.
After being turned away from a neighbouring restaurant on my husband’s birthday for having 3 dogs even though we had asked 2 days before and was assured it was ok we found The Black Swan. We were made very welcome and so were the dogs. We all had the Steak and Ale pie. All we can say is Fabulous! It’s the most tastiest pie we have ever had. The steak was so lean and tender and full. This restaurant/pub is brilliant, I went in to ask if they could make something specific for my husband due to swallowing issues, and they did so without hesitation. Was great to find them so accommodating. Food was amazing. Lovely atmosphere
